Cancer Care and Support
St. John’s Cancer Center of Ventura County (CCVC) is a one-stop resource for cancer information, therapy planning and support, offering comprehensive cancer care. In addition to cancer treatment, the CCVC offers various support groups, peer and professional counseling, relaxation therapies and classes, and wig and prosthesis fittings. Community Health Education and Outreach
Classes and services include: Ongoing Diabetes Education and Support Group, Diabetes Eye and Foot Screenings, Free and Low Cost Health Screenings, Shots for Kids and Adults, Healthful Living with Diabetes Classes, Chronic Disease Self-Management Course, Diabetes Horizon Program, Blood Pressure and/or Blood Glucose Screenings and Wellness Clinics.

Additionally, St. John’s Health Ministries Program provides health and wellness programs for community members, including the Basic Needs Program, which serves the poor and disenfranchised in the community, and the Parish Health Ministries program, which serves the congregations of different faiths in the community to provide health and wellness programs at the parish level.

For pregnant women eligible for Medi-Cal, St. John’s offers the Healthy Beginnings Program, which offers health education, nutrition counseling, social services, vitamins and pregnancy and breastfeeding classes.

Maternity and Childbirth Programs and Classes
Through St. John’s Babies First Program, we are committed to providing a loving start for every baby and loving care for every mom. Our services include support before, during and after the birth of your baby. St. John’s Hospitals provide a variety of programs, classes and services, including hospital tours, childbirth and parenting classes, breastfeeding classes and support, and more. Outpatient Therapy Programs
St. John’s Outpatient Therapy Centers provide comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services for people who are experiencing pain and/or a loss in functional ability due to an injury or illness.
