St. John's Community Health Education Department provides bilingual (English and Spanish) health and wellness programs for patients and the community, including:

(Please note: St. John's Regional Medical Center, which is located at 1600 North Rose Avenue in Oxnard, will be referenced as SJRMC, and St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital, which is located at 2309 Antonio Avenue in Camarillo, will be referenced as SJPVH.)

Free and Low Cost Screenings: Know Your Numbers

The following screenings will be available: blood glucose, BMI, blood pressure, anemia, HbA1C (free), and cholesterol/HDL/triglycerides ($10).

Vaccines for children are offered free of charge; vaccines for adults are offered for free and at low cost (depending on the vaccination); tuberculosis screenings are offered for $20.

Diabetes Horizon Program (Free)
This six-month program is designed to help you control your diabetes. The following screenings will be offered: lipid panel, blood glucose, HbA1C and blood pressure.
