Medical Interventions

Our medical oncologists use the latest cancer-fighting drugs to treat and cure all kinds of cancer. Since cancer diseases are often complex, the medical oncologists on staff at St. John's have special expertise in the diagnosis, treatments, and approaches to most kinds of cancer. They use chemotherapy to attack cancer cells, reduce tumors, and hopefully, help the cancer disappear.

Our radiation oncologists are recognized leaders in the field of radiotherapy and are experts in advanced treatments, including brachytherapy techniques and computer guided radiation delivery methods (the precise delivery of radiation to a pre-selected localized target).
